To compose a test package for a specific EFC implementation, the test cases can be modified and new test instances can be defined and added for the conformance test suite to be complete. It can be useful to consider the following when defining an entire test package:

-- mix types: testing of individual objects in sequence or parallel.

NOTE 1 ISO 14907-1 defines evaluation procedures that are aimed at analyzing performance, robustness and reliability of EFC systems and equipment.
NOTE 2 The ISO/IEC 10373 series defines test methods for proximity, vicinity, integrated circuit(s) cards and associated devices which could be relevant for OBUs that support these cards.
Annex D provides an educational overview of Japanese onboard gear (OBE) conformance evaluations which are based on the ISO 14907 series, so as to exemplify how these can be implemented in practice.
