International Standards For Transportation Systems
The transportation system is among the most sought after businesses in the 21st century. When this area, regardless of the introduction of a massive number of advanced technologies, is responsible for human health, then a large number of regulatory documents are made especially for this business. One of the most demanded forms of acts today are ISO international standards. If the transport industry directly or indirectly affects the scope of the activity, the access to these international documents allow you to make certain all possible risks are foreseen by you and the vector of development on an international scale won't be troublesome for you. Below we'll provide a number of the most important standards in the transportation industry today.

Intelligent transport systems- Traffic and travel information messages via traffic message coding- Part 1: Coding protocol for Radio Data System- Traffic Message Channel (RDS-TMC) using ALERT-C (ISO 14819-1:2021) EN ISO 14819-1:2021
The issues of regulating the transport of information in the 21st century are applicable not just for information technology, but also for different branches of human action, one of which is transportation systems. To modulate information security issues in this class, such an global standard as EN ISO 14819-1: 2021 has been created.

The ALERT-C protocol is intended to supply mostly event-oriented road end-user information messages. This document defines the messages that are presented to the user in accord with a set of overall requirements. The message management element of this document clarifies the message direction functions of RDS-TMC. User messages are those possibly known to the end-user, as described in Clause 5. highest rated international standards recommendations here.

RDS-TMC information comprises both'system info' and'user messages'. System information relates to the TMC support and details that the parameters that the terminal should be able to discover, identify and decode the TMC information. System data is transmitted in form 3A groups and in type 8A groups. User messages include the facts of the traffic occasions; those may use one or more kind 8A groups. Most messages might be transmitted using a single type 8A group, however messages with more detail (e.g. diversion information ) can use up to a total of five, type 8A groups.

The transmission component of the document communicates the messages over-air. The ALERT-C protocol, used by RDS-TMC, has the basic approach of organizing to code most messages entirely within one RDS group. The ALERT-C Event List, which contains all event descriptions, is described in ISO 14819-2. This international document has a massive number of technical characteristics and parameters which make it feasible to clearly ascertain whether this standard is acceptable for you or not. If the aforementioned technologies are used by you to your main or indirect activity, we strongly recommend that you pay attention to the global standard and think about its mandatory existence in the technological and scientific base of your enterprise.

Electronic fee collection- Test procedures for user and fixed equipment- Part 2: Conformance test for the on-board unit application interface (ISO 14907-2:2021) EN ISO 14907-2:2021
We've already cited more than once concerning the significance of such a point as evaluation procedures, in addition to research and drawing up conclusions by the empirical method. To avoid the negative effects of erroneous conclusion as a consequence of analyzing a certain solution, such foreign documents and standards are created, including, for example, EN ISO 14907-2: 2021. This record describes tests which confirm on-board unit (OBU) conformance of functions and data structures implementations, as described in the implementation conformance statement (ICS) according to ISO 14906 to get EFC applications.

This document defines tests for assessing OBU conformance in terms of:

-- basic dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) L7 performance,
-- EFC application functions,
-- EFC attributes (i.e. EFC application information),
-- the addressing procedures of EFC attributes and (hardware) components,
-- the EFC transaction model, which defines the common components and measures of any EFC transaction, and
-- the behavior of the interface in order to encourage interoperability on an EFC-DSRC program interface level.

After the tests of isolated data items and works (C.two to C.4), an example is given for testing an entire EFC trade (C.3). Though this document defines examples of test instances for DSRC and EFC functionality (see Annex C), it doesn't mean to define an entire test suite for some implementation. To compose a test package for a specific EFC implementation, the test cases can be modified and new test instances can be defined and added for the conformance test suite to be complete. It can be useful to consider the following when defining an entire test package:

-- small range:"comprehensive testing" of crucial interoperability/compatibility features,
-- big range: testing of bounds and arbitrary values, and
-- mix types: testing of individual objects in sequence or parallel.

This document Doesn't define tests which assess:
-- performance,

-- reliability of an execution.

NOTE 1 ISO 14907-1 defines evaluation procedures that are aimed at analyzing performance, robustness and reliability of EFC systems and equipment.

NOTE 2 The ISO/IEC 10373 series defines test methods for proximity, vicinity, integrated circuit(s) cards and associated devices which could be relevant for OBUs that support these cards.

Annex D provides an educational overview of Japanese onboard gear (OBE) conformance evaluations which are based on the ISO 14907 series, so as to exemplify how these can be implemented in practice. This International Standard refers to related records in the industry and has specific recommendations prescribed because of its own implementation. If you're thinking about building a complete complex in accordance with the latest international demands, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with all international standards of this transport system industry and select documents that qualitatively complement each other.
